30 ships in the Sotogrande Cup of Heavy Sailing

Aquilón de Ignacio Benthem is imposed in the Championship of Andalusia of Cruises ORC and Cigna of Jaime Brujo in Monotypes
During the weekend, the XXIII Sotogrande Cup, which coincides with the ORC Championship of Andalusia of Cruises, and the eighth edition of the catamaran race in memory of Antonio Muñoz Cabrero, was held in Gaditan waters of the Strait. The winner in Cruises was Aquilón de Ignacio Benthem of the Royal Mediterranean Club of Malaga and in Monotypes with a Tom-28 the ship Cigna of Jaime Brujo of the Real Club Marítimo of Sotogrande.
In Cruises also stands out the great championship held by Al Tarik IV of José Luis Pérez of the Club Náutico Saladillo de Algeciras that has been the second ranked, and of the Aviador de Gabriel Medem that has been left in third position and has become the best classified regatist of the Real Club Marítimo de Sotogrande in the test. In total, there were 24 participants in ORC Cruises and 5 in Monotypes.
The race organized by the Real Club Marítimo de Sotogrande and Puerto Sotogrande, has the collaboration of the Andalusian Federation of Vela, the City Council of San Roque, Sotogrande Andalucía, Cervezas Alhambra and Gin Rives.
