The dense fog that was seized from the first hour of the morning of the entire contour of the Rias Baixas coast, prevented the celebration of the first day of the 22nd Trophy Hotel Carlos I Silgar - 34th Ruta de Las Islas, which organizes the Royal Nautical Club of Sanxenxo during this weekend.

The Ria de Pontevedra was not alien to this weather phenomenon which, however, injected a stable component close to the 12 knots of wind intensity.

After several hours of waiting, with the flag of intelligence on the ground - which indicates deferral - the Committee of the Regata, chaired by Carlos Villar as the Chief Officer, made the decision to annul this first day of the competition, which contemplated the circumnavigation to the islands of Onza and Ons, with a possible alternative coastal route inside the river, to Tambo, back and forth.

For this reason, regatists, employers, shipowners, Committee and directors of the Real de Sanxenxo went to the magnificent facilities of the Hotel Carlos I Silgar, where their director, Leonardo López, was waiting for them, who offered them a bright reception, highly appreciated by all who attended it.
