2022-07-28: 103 teams with 1062 athletes at the National Sprint of Young Promises in Verdudo

The event was presented yesterday morning, in the town hall Pontevedrés, with the presence of sports councilman Tino González and the president of the Galician Federation of Piragüismo José Alfredo Bea García, in that event the 401 athletes who will represent the 35 Galician clubs, which is 38% of the total

The David Cal Sports Complex of Verdudo will again host this weekend the Spanish Sprint Young Promises Cadet-Children's Championship of 1,000 and 500 meters, in which will participate 1062 athletes, representing 103 teams, a figure that exceeds all the records of participation that have been available so far.

The Galician set that the most palists will align at the exit will be the Ria de Betanzos with 28 participants, followed by the Nautico Pontequures with 26 and the Nautico Firrete with 24.
The competition will start on Friday morning with the celebration of the counter-watch series for all individual categories, and on Saturday the individual semi-finals and finals will be held, while on Sunday the final of the team boats will be decided.
