Carlos Ordoñez and Patricia Pelayo are the new champions of Asturias of Snipe... the second position was for the couple formed by, Alfonso Cabezudo and Álvaro López closing the podium posts Guillermo Marqués and Jorge Fernández, the three couples belong to the Real Club Astur de Regatas

Carlos Ordoñez and Patricia Pelayo were the protagonists in the first day, after performing an off-line on the first manga and having to return to the starting line to penalize, they went up positions until they finished the manga first. In the second race of the day they won again leaving the Championship very well focused on the day of Sunday. Alfonso Cabezudo and Álvaro López with a third and second place were second in the general, tied to points with the third classified José Palacio and Pablo López.

On Sunday, in the first manga of new Carlos Ordoñez and Patricia Pelayo were again the fastest to secure the championship of Asturias in the absence of the last test. Alfonso Cabezudo and Álvaro López, with a second and a first place in the day, won the subchampionship. For their part, Guillermo Marqués and Jorge Fernández achieved the third position on the classification table, with two quarters on the first day and two third on the closing table.

After celebrating in early July the XXIII Memorial Carlos del Castillo de Snipe, this weekend and organized by the Real Club Astur de Regatas de Gijón, the Asturias Championship will be held in the Bay of San Lorenzo.

The list of entries includes a wide representation of Snipes of the Regatas Club, a propulsion of the class in Asturias.

In the last edition the triumph was for the couple formed by the brothers Jaime and Germán Álvarez-Hevia, the second square obtained it, José Palacio and Alberto Suarez closing the honours, Marta Suárez and Sergio González.
