Twentieth edition of Vent de Dalt in Cambrils

The competition has been marked by the Catalan Championship of Solitaries, A2 and Height. Dalt's Vent was starting on Friday, July 22 with the pattern meeting prior to the water exit at 6: 00 p.m.
The fastest boat covered the 67 nautical miles in just under 12 hours. The participants sailed all night long to the Cape of Tortosa before taking a return to Cambrils.
The Nàutic Cambrils Club celebrated this weekend the traditional Vent de Dalt cruise race, which this year was its 20th anniversary. The boats participating in this outstanding summer calendar meeting at CNCB where the boats travel 67 nautical miles to the Casablanca Platform and the Cabo de Tortosa, with departure and arrival in Cambrils.
The boat Enigma de Lluis Tort, from the Real Club Nautico of Barcelona, was the first to arrive at port within four minutes by 6: 00 tomorrow Saturday. The rest of the participants arrived in a step-by-step manner, with the last entry at 8: 30 in the morning.
In the crew class the winning boat was the Mon de l'Ona II, of Ramon Cañellas, of the Nàutic Cambrils Club. In class A2 the winner was the Salao Tu, by Manuel López, of the Nàutic Salou Club. Finally he took the trophy of Solitaire the boat A Poc to Poc Morenito, by Alfonso César Roch, of the Club Marítima Torredembarra.
Good weather conditions helped most participants to meet the route in a very
fast and without any incidence. Once on the ground, on Saturday night the participants were able to enjoy a celebration dinner during which the award was made.
