The semi-rigid ship design and manufacturing division of the international Vanguard Marine group takes advantage of the flexibility of its shipyard status to adapt to the requirements of a constantly changing market. In 2022, Vanguard moved forward in all sectors, with the delivery and signing of contracts with special impact on the professional market.
Over the last four decades, Vanguard Marine's team has defended the custom-made model of semi-rigid vessels. This is an ambitious concept that requires the maximum flexibility of the production chain and a great capacity to adapt all the departments of the company, from design to supply, from human resources to manufacturing.
In the competitive marine tourism sector, Vanguard models are convinced by the combination of reliability and robustness, with engine configurations designed to optimize consumption according to the required activity.

Diving centres in the Mediterranean area also rely on the reliability of the semi-rigid Vanguard. In recent months, several DR 760 (7.6 meters length) and DR 830 (8.3 meters length) models have been delivered with different configurations and accessories depending on the preferences of each club.
In the first half of 2022 there are several deliveries of vessels with double-strung configuration in the archipelagos of Madeira and Azores for companies of excursions specialized in divising marine fauna, as well as units of 12 meters length with intraregional engine and Water-Jet for excursions along the coast of the Algarve, in southern Portugal.
In northern Europe, the imminent delivery in Norway of a TX-12.0 (12-meter-long offshore model) for the sighting of whales and other cetaceans with removable cabin, which will allow to operate in the harsh winter conditions and discovered during the summer period.
