A number of media outlets in the general press, the case of the Diari de Tarragona, or the Iusport digital specialist... a judge investigates the board of the Reial Club Nàutic de Tarragona for punishable insolvency, unfair administration and corporate crime following a complaint by the Association of Amarrists of the Port of Sports... data confirmed by the Club's own management.

The Club is the majority shareholder of the so-called Náutic Tarragona, which is the company that exploits in administrative concession of this Catalan marina, which collides in two years... in 2024.

The complaint has been filed by the Associació d'Amarristes del Port Esportiu de Tarragona for insolvency, unfair administration and corporate crime... and has been admitted to proceedings.

It seems that the previous Board of Directors focused on the process of renewal of the concession after the relevant study and design a renovation of the veteran facilities of the order of 3.5 million euros... to achieve an extension of the concession of 12 years... thus the Reial Club Nàutic de Tarragona, one of the entities with the highest prestige of the Spanish nautical... was assured the process until 2036.

But in 2019 a new board of directors, chaired by Andrea Tamara Mazzanti, entered into a new board of directors, without theoretically, engaged the necessary step of the Board of Directors to give its approval to commit itself to a payment of 40,000 euros to the technicians who should draft a new project... the president dismissed the Council's councils, hiring a new company and increasing up to 4.7 million euros... the offer of renewal and expansion of the Sports Port...

The complainants claim that these decisions were made without informing the other shareholders; that the Club owes EUR 120,000 to the Nüutic, and that the state of the accounts is so precarious that, according to the Companies Act, it should be dissolved... for its part, the Club's sources regret that the case has reached the courts and are confident that the instruction will clarify the discrepancy. The President of the Club is a member of the Board of Directors of the Spanish Federation of Remo... which has entered into a dangerous internal conflict, initiated with Banyoles' morbid motion of censorship.

CLARATORY NOTE ON THE LAST INFORMATION PUBLISHED IN PRESS AND ANNOUNCED BY THE AMARRIST ASSOCIATION

The Board of the Reial Club Nàutic of Tarragona, wishes to clarify to all the members of the club, and to the moorists, localists and users of Nautic Tarragona SA diapers, which is working in a constant, transparent and arduous way to ensure the continuation and viability of the renovation project of Port Esportiu whose second phase is about to begin and thus leave behind years of neglect and desidia that led the current facilities to the state of decline in which they are located.

For this board, issues such as safety, energy efficiency, mobility and adaptation of the environment to new times, as well as the economic viability of the project, are a priority.

Any club user and / or partner has the doors open to request information, verify data and request a meeting with the club president to know any details if you think so.

As soon as the club receives the notification of the complaint filed by the Association of Amarrists to which the media refer, we will inform the club's partners about each of the points that are published in it.

In parallel, we will continue to work to keep the club growing and improving and to make Port Esportiu one of the best sports ports in Catalonia, ensuring the safety and enjoyment of all our partners and users.
