The fourth edition of the traditional Gran Canaria Air Battle Festival... returns to Vargas's Grancan beach from July 21 to 24, bringing together some of the world elite Riders who will compete for the Official Spanish Championship of Kiteboarding, as well as the Open Canary Championship of Kiteboarding and Wing Foil

The reference festival of the kitesurf and wing fire of Canarias returns this year to the Grancan beach of Vargas from 21 to 24 July, thanks to the institutional sponsorship of the areas of Sport and Tourism of the Cabildo of Gran Canaria, and of private entities such as Ahembo, as well as the collaboration of the City of Agüimes and the Royal Federation of Canaria de Vela.

In its fourth edition, the Gran Canaria Air Battle Kite & Wing Foil Festival, organized by the Club Deportivo Canakite Experiences, continues to maintain its essence of being an open event for all ages and levels and that every year it congregates riders that have grown in the Canary Islands and that have already become hollow in the world top of the kiteboarding, as is the case of the Tineers Jeremy Burlando or Lorenzo Casati that is among the top 5 of the world.

Lorenzo Casati is currently the third in the world, as well as the champion of Spain and the Canary Islands, while his brother Leonardo is one of the most precious diamonds in the Canary Islands... other competitors begin to be better known as the grancanary Ricardo Estuñán, the current champion of Spain.

In addition to the elite of the kitesurf, there are Riders of all ages, from 14 years or less, to a very special sportsman who just turned 80 years old flying all the way up: Klaus Fietz.
