The thirty-first edition of the Costa Vasca-Golden Whale Regata was won by the Rat Pack vizcino, the M 34 by Javier-varri, after this year's test was conditioned during the three days of competition for lack of wind.

The Costa Vasca-Golden Whale Regata was sponsored by Euskadiko Kirol Portuak- Basque Sports Ports, and organized by the Royal Maritime Club of the Abra-Real Sporting Club, the Real Nautical Club of San Sebastián and the Nautical Club of Hondarribia, plus the collaboration of the Basque Federation... the award was held on the northern terrace of the tuna fishing club of Lekeitio.
