The German Gunnar Biniasch added his fourth consecutive victory in the WFSS 2022 Baleària by finishing first in eight of the twelve tests performed during the two days of competition in Palma Bay. In the WetSuitCare Advanced category, the Belgian Regy Dils ends in fourth place due to the superiority of the Majorcan fleet.

On the second and last day of the WFSS 2022 Majorca Baleària, a loose 11-12-kt embat encouraged the race committee to give the first departure of the day around 1: 00 noon.

The Italian regatist Julián López took advantage of Biniasch's mistakes to make a big return from the fourth position in which he ended the previous day to the second place, moving to the mallorcan Miguel Angel Lloserá to the third drawer. The great injury of the day was Arturo Madero, who held the third temporary position at the beginning of the day and ended up off the podium.

In the WetSuitCare Advanced category the leading role was for Ruben Salvador, with a second, a fourth and three first positions in the five tests of the last day. Positions that held him in the highest podium step. The Mallorquins David José Pérez and Toni Sastre held the second and third place, respectively, at the end of the day. The canary regatist, Gunnar Biniasch, positions himself a provisional leader of the Baleària Open Pro category after conquering six of the seven sleeves in the waters of the Arenal Nautical Club. The local Rubén Salvador demonstrated its dominance over the WetSuitCare Advanced fleet, placing itself at the top of the provisional podium of its category.

As has been the case since the beginning of the season in Los Alcázares, Murcia, Gunnar Biniasch has been imposed on his rivals from the very first moment. The famous Embat of Palma Bay gave an excellent condition that allowed a total of seven tests in which Biniasch crossed the line of arrival in the first place in all but in the third sleeve in which he had a "off-line" being penalized with an OCS.

The rest of the provisional podium of the Baleària Open Pro category was completed by the Mallorquins Miguel Ángel Lloerá and Arturo Madero. It will, ten points away from Biniasch, end second after a first place with the German OCS, two seconds and two third places, a fifth and a DNC in the last test. On the other hand, Madero closed the provisional podium to only four points of Llorá after getting four third, two quarter and a sixth place.

On the other hand, the surprise of the day was marked by Regy Dils, who, like Biniasch, had been winning the WetSuitCare Advanced category podium since the beginning of the 2022 season. On this occasion, the success of the Belgian was interrupted by the Mallorcan fleet, as the local rider Rubén Salvador stood at the top of the provisional podium, followed by David José Pérez and Toni Sastre in second and third place respectively, moving Dils to the fourth temporary position at the end of the day, although in a tie to points with Sastre. Here are the general classifications:

Category Baleària Open Pro
1.Gunnar Biniasch (GER), 6 points
2.Miguel Ángel Lloerá (ESP), 16
3.Arturo Madero (ESP), 20
4.Julián López (ITA), 21
5.Daniel Buades (ESP), 30

Category WetSuitCare Advanced
1.Ruben Salvador (ESP), 8 points
2.David José Pérez (ESP), 12
3.Toni Sastre (ESP), 18
4.Regy Dils (BEL), 18
5.Angel Candel (ESP), 25
