For Lone II the most equal Tramontana Route of recent years

The first three of the general: Lone II, Oreig and Caliope, get the same points, having to resort to the planned tipping system...
Smerit wins in Category A2, Asterix in Solitaries and Nervi in Promotion
Like last year, this twenty-ninth edition of La Ruta de la Tramuntana consisted of two tests, a first of 55 nautical miles between El Balís and L'Escala, held on Friday 8, and a second with La Escala-Islas Medas- La Escala, of 13 and a half miles. The combination of the results of both tests would serve to configure the general classification, which can be noted for the Championship of Catalonia of Height, A2 and Solitaries, as well as for the Circuit of High Regates.
This edition has been the most difficult in recent years, with a tie between the first three classified. The Lone II won the first stage (1) and made a fourth (4) in the second, getting 5 points. The Oreig with a second (2) on Friday and a third (3) on Saturday also accumulated 5 points, while the Caliope, with a quarter in the long stage (4) and a victory in the short stage (1) obtained the same score.
In the face of the triple tie, the system provided for in the Regata Instructions was used to undo it, that is, it would be imposed who would have obtained the best result in the long stage. In this way, the LONE, an IMX 38 by Ramón Garriga of the Néutic Club of Port d'Aro, was raised with the absolute victory, accompanied on the podium by the OREIG, A35 patroned by Martí Gelabert, also from the Néutic of Port d'Aro, and the Caliope, J45 from Thierry D'Argoubet, of the Néutic Club Sant Feliu de Guixols. They all competed with full crew, a category in which they obtained the same positions.
