The Riveira Nautical and Sports Club closes its Cruise season with the Gadis Regata, the last valedere event of the 50th anniversary of the Coruñés Club of the Arousa Ria.

In the Division of the Regates the winner was the First Ziralla, by Ramón Barreiro, by Ro Yacht Club, followed by another of the favorites, the Chispetrén, by Jesus Churches, by the Nautical Arousa North Club. The bronze was for the Txio, by José Manuel Fernández, from the Nautical Club of Riveira.

In the Crocero- Regata de took the triumph the Camping Ria de Arousa, in splendid shape during the last sightseeing dates. The ship of José Manuel Pombar, of the Nautical Club Arousa Norte, once again demonstrated its good time.

The second square was for the Ronautics Marinas, by Jorge Carnero, of the San Telmo Nautical Club, which has also tasted the podium's merries during this season. Third was the Titan, by Manuel Peleteiro, of the Nautical Club Arousa Norte.

In the Cruises he won another of the usual, the Five Albariño Islands of Rubén Pérez, of the Beluso Nautical Club. Second was the Galopín, by Manuel Franco, from the premises of Riveira, being third the Orlando, by Gerardo Sánchez, from the Nautical Club of Rianxo

The sixth edition of Regata Gadis de Vela Pesada was presented at the Náutico y Deportivo Riveira Club... the quote of the reference Barranza, which already exceeds the three lustras of continuous support as a sponsor of Gadisa... which opened in 1998, the first Haley of Galicia, of which the last 16 have had its great protagonism with the race they sponsor.

The competition, with an expected departure at two o'clock on Saturday, July 16, is intended for the main divisions of the ORC: Regata, Cruise / Regata and Cruise, with a participation of 20 cruises.

18 alternative routes are among those decided by the Regatas Committee... all of them of coastal layout except for a barlovento-sotavento, that is, a circuit between buoys of only 6 miles if the wind was of low intensity. All other numbers on the wide list offer an average distance of 12 miles, about 22 km.
