The windsurfing elite will meet, from 9 to 17 July, on the Grancan beach of Pozo Izquierdo, in the third race of the 2022 Windsurf World Cup, the second in the wave category, in which more than 100 windsurfers will participate.

The Great Canaria Windsurf World Cup of Pozo Izquierdo will count on the participation of Daida and Iballa Ruano, who have won between both 28 world titles. In this edition, its main rival will be the Arubense Sarah- Quita Offringa, current champion of the wave mode in 2019 and that it was on the podium in the last two editions in Pozo Izquierdo.

While this year's male test will have as main protagonists Bernd Roediger, Marcilio Brawzinho and Camille Juban, who formed the podium in the first test of this year held in Cape Verde... it is also confirmed with the presence of the 2019 champion, the Brazilian Ricardo Campello, as well as local riders such as Liam Dunkerbeck, Marinito Gil, Michael Friedl or Phillip Köster.
