The Water Games will host 18 official Spanish Championships and will be held from September 22 to October 2 in the Region of Murcia, in the headquarters of Cartagena, Santiago de la Ribera, Cabo de Palos, La Manga, Lo Pagán and Los Alcázares

More than four thousand athletes will participate in the first Water Games to be held in Spain. The sport with the largest number of participants will be Triathlon, which will have approximately 1,800 athletes, while Piragüismo and Remo will take over 600 athletes each to their Spanish Championships. Swimming will have 300 participants, Surf and Fishing will attract around 200 Sports, Sailing and Underwater Activities to 150 each, Motonautics to 120 and Nautical Skiing to approximately 50 participants. It should be recalled that in many cases the inscriptions are still open and in others they are produced by direct classification.

In total, 18 official Spanish Championships will be held: Open Waters (Swimming), Triathlon Sprint (Triathlon), Catamaran Class, (Sailing), K4 and C4 (Piragüismo), Radio Control (Sailing), Wakeboard (Aquatic Skiing), Flyski(Motonautics), Dragon Boat (Piragüismo), Rallyjet, Offshore and Circuit (Motonautics), SUP Long Distance (Surfing), Sea Remo (Remo), Sea Costa Duo (Fishing and Casting), Kayak Fishing (Fishing and Casting), SUP Speed (Surfing) and Nafosim and Cevisub (Underwater Activities).

The headquarters of the Championships will be: Cartagena, Santiago de la Ribera, Cabo de Palos, La Manga, Lo Pagán and Los Alcázares, all from September 22 to October 2.

The Water Games are the first national sports event organized by ADEP, Spanish Sports Association, and 10 Spanish Sports Federations: Swimming, Sailing, Piragüismo, Surfing, Triathlon, Motonautics, Nautical Skiing, Fishing and Casting, Underwater Activities and Remo.
