A coastal route inside the Ria de Arousa was the one chosen by the Committee of the French Regata-Trophy President Ramiro Carregal Rey, with two different steps between buoys, depending on the category and class in which each of the about 40 sailing boats took part in this twenty-first edition of the race referred to in the district of Barranza.
The exit horn was given with complete punctuality... to the edge of the twelve, with a south-east wind and 10 stable knots of intensity, the cruc ers of the Frinsa Regata crossed the line, filling with candles the river of Arousa.
In the Regata class he won the Bon III, by Victor Carrión, by the Punta Lagoa Nautical Club. He was followed in the second square by the Siradella of Francisco Gude and César Álvarez of the Royal Nautical Club Portosin. And he closed the box of the podium the Corsario, of Javier Durán, of the Vilagarcía Yates Club.
In Crucero- Regata new success for the campsite Ria de Arosa, by José Manuel Pombar, of the Nautical Arousa Club North. Second was the Orion, by Alberto Pérez, of the Mount Real Yates Club of Bayona. And the bronze was taken by the Meltelmi 3D Atlantic Printing, by Guillermo Blanco, of the Royal Nautical Club of La Coruña.
Among the Cruises was the Regata Frinsa el Orlando, by Gerardo Sánchez, from Club Arousa Norte. The second square was for the local ship of José Luís Torres Colomer, the Arosa VI, of the Nautico de Riveira. And third the Galopin, by Manuel Franco, also by Riveira.
