Next week, in the first three days of July... the race of the three names will be held in Valencian waters: the twenty-third edition of the Regata de la Reina... which is also Tribute to the Spanish Navy and its oldest reference to the unforgettable Admiral Marcial Sanchez-Barcazztegui, which dates back 34 years.

The great news is the internationalization of the most important race of the Royal Nautical Club of Valencia... which has managed to bring together cruises from Switzerland, Great Britain, the United States, Germany, the Netherlands, France, Belgium and Portugal... amen from Spain.

The Varadero Valencia ORC 0-1 class will have eight units. At level 0, as it cannot be otherwise, the Navy ship, the Aifos, will enter into competition with Admiral Jaime Rodríguez Touques-Núñez as the patron, and also the Blue Carbon of Toni Guiu of the RCNB. At level 1, there will be four vessels that will sail the RCNV: the Porron IX, by Luis Senís, with Nano Negrín to the cane; the Aquarelle 1 Varadero Valencia, with Arturo Meseguer as shipowner and patron; the Brujo, by Alberto de Castro; and the Palibex (RCNV / RCMS), by Inveravis 2016 S.L / Jaime Colsa, with José María Pichu Torcida as patron. With a Swiss flag you will sail the Mercedes-Benz Valdisa (RCMTPU), by Álvaro Fernández, with Luis Martínez Dorest, Olympic in Sidney 2000 and Athens 2004 in Laser class. The Tenaz, of Pablo Garriga, will also run for the RCNB.

In the Mercedes Valdisa ORC 2 class, nine vessels will enter. And there will be representation from Britain and the United States. In this class will compete the M8 ZAS Sailing, of the French brothers, which in the last edition of the SM Trophy The Queen reached the podium with a third final place. One more step, second, was the Maverta Defcom Seguridad, of the shipowner Pedro Gil, by the Torrevieja RCN. The 2021 edition was won by the Romanian Essentia44.

They will also sail the U.P. Valencia, from the Polytechnic University of Valencia with José Antonio Gil to the cane. They will also compete the Gdes-Aerox, by Carlos Rosell, and the Xcuba creates Modum, by Toni Garcés. For the RCN Castellón you will sail the Saetta III Euroatomized Group, and for the CN Premià de Mar the Denebola IC Racing Yacht, patrolling by Iban Cerejido. The Royal Bliss ORC 3 class will have a great variability of provenance. For Germany, SG Stern Stuttgart will sail the Likedeler Velas Lluch, Bastian Mathewski, and for the Netherlands the Checkmate, Peter de Ridder. With British sailing, by the Barcelona RCN, will run the L Immens--Laplaza Assessors, by Alexandre Laplaza. There will also be units from various regions such as the Comunitat Valenciana, Murcia, Andalusia and the Balearic Islands. The RCNV will compete for the Estupendu, for Fernando Riera, for the RCR Alicante the Tanit 4 - Medilevel, for María José Vila, and for the RCN Denia the Team TAC, for Gustavo Gastaldi.

The Region of Murcia will be represented on this level by the Shamal Tetopsa, by Antonio José Alcaraz, and the NEMOX-BNFIX, of the brothers Romero and Juan Pablo Ramírez.
