The canary Tara Pacheco and the Galician Iago López Marra will premiere as the pre-Olympic crew of Nacra 17 in German waters

As every year, Kiel Week is the focus of the light and Olympic sailing... among the first boats to compete has been the 29th, in which Matthew and Simon Codonyer stand out as the best Spanish crew in the 9th class (Top10), in which 127 boats participate.

From tomorrow the Olympic candle comes into action, with Spanish representation in 49er, 49erFX, Nacra 17 and ILCA 7. The race program will end on Sunday 26 with the Races Medal dispute.

The participation in 49er is led by the crews of the Spanish pre-Olympic team formed by Diego Botín and Florian Trittel and Andrés Barrio and Antonio Torrado, as well as the teams of the National Plan of Sports Technification of Albert Torres and Elías Aretz, Pol Marsans and José Manuel Ruiz, Conrad Konitzer and Fernando Rodríguez and the brothers Martín and Jaime Wizner.

In the female skiff, 49er FX, the pre-Olympic Patricia Suárez and María Cantero will sail along with the PNTD athletes Marina Garau and Carlota García and Alicia Fras and Elena Barrio.

Tara Pacheco and Iago López Marra, pre-Olympic in Nacra 17, will make their debut in competition in German waters, along with members of the PNTD Iset Segura and Marcos Fernández, and the Catalan team formed by Nicolás Martín and Jill Paland.

The Cantabre Victor Gorostegui will be the only national participant in class ILCA 7.
