During this weekend, the beach Marina El Portet de Dènia has hosted the WingFoil Open Autonomical Championship of the Valencia Community.
On Saturday, June 18, he started the competition, which gave his gunshot out at 14: 30, with an average of 8 to 10 knots. After the first 5 tests, the wind intensity was increased to 12 knots, which were maintained for another 5 sleeves. A very complete day where as many sleeves as possible were made.
Finally, it turned out to be a decisive day, as it was not possible to test on Sunday due to a lack of wind. At 15: 30 hours, the tests were suspended and the championship was completed with the previous day's ratings.
After the 10 trials held on Saturday, the young man from the Royal Nautical Club of Calpe, Hugo Ferrer, rose on the top of the podium with a total of 16 net points. Just one point away, Pedro Simó took the autonomous silver and, closing the top three absolute, David Llueca of the Nautical Club of Canet d'en Berenguer, with 23 points. The fourth position of the classification was left in Denia by the hand of Sebastian Ducos thanks to its 26 points. In fifth position, with 30 net points, Carlo Terruzzi of the Marina Valencia Sailing Club was located.
