The traditional Hogueras against Cancer Trophy was held today at the facilities of the Real Club de Regatas de Alicante, in which the Tanit IV - Medilevel, by María José Vila with Nacho Campos as Patron in ORC and the Lagun de Salvador Fernandez in Cruciero Promoción, have been the winners.

An appointment prior to the parties of the fires of Alicante, which this year return in all its apogee and with great desire after two years of inactivity, and which began on Friday day, when the usual table of petition was set up at the RCRA, with the aim of raising funds for the Association of Alicante for the Fight against Cancer... through it passed thousands of alicantines that contributed their granite of sand for the struggle and the accompaniment of patients and families of oncological diseases.

The race is able to raise a total of 1,898,11 €, which will be fully donated to the Alicante Association for the Fight against Cancer

The participants met with a race field suitable for the competition: a sunny day with 30 degrees of average temperature, although with low-intensity wind that made it difficult for the Committee to work, but that allowed the departure at 12: 49 hours to a short tour of just over 4 miles.

For the promotion class, the boat Lagun, by Salvador Fernándes (RCR Alicante) was the one that was raised with the trophy of champion, followed by the Akra, by Juan Rodriguez (RCR Alicante) and the Pecata, by José Carlos Eiroa (RCR Alicante).

For their part, the promotion cruise was led by the Tanit IV Medilevel, by Maria José Vila with Nacho Campos (RCR Alicante), who won the trophy. He was followed by the Cool Wave of Luís Rodriguez (RCR Alicante) and the Aleph IV of Joaquín Pérez (RCR Alicante).
