The Spanish team showed its ability to go to more in the first freshwater test in SailGP history and improved the results recorded in Bermuda during the initial day of the T-Mobile United States Sail Grand Prix - 124; Chicago at Navy Pier.

2022-06-17: F50 Victoria wants to surprise SailGP in Chicago

For the first time the competition is held in fresh water on the well-known Lake Michigan and in Chicago, a city with an extensive sports tradition and closely linked to the owner of SailGP, Larry Ellison, also founder of Oracle
The F50 Victoria arrives this weekend for the first time in the waters of Chicago, known as the city of the wind, with the aim of applying the experience and intelligence of data obtained in Bermuda to climb positions in a great prize with an environment unknown so far for the fastest catamarans in the world.
The exits, where the Spanish team stands out, and the improvement of the technique and strategy during the race will be the bazas that the crew capitalized by Jordi Xammar will try to use in the first race in fresh water in the history of SailGP.
Jordi Xammar will again capitalize on the F50 Victoria as a headline pilot, a role he began to play in the Grand Final of San Francisco.
