The second date of the season of the 52 Super Series 2022 will bring together the fleet in the beautiful town of Cascais to fight the World Rolex of TP52... nine ships will compete in a very popular headquarters among the crews for their reputation of providing a combination of great winds and Atlantic waves that announces a spectacular battle for the title... there will be no lack of three teams that already have world crowns: Quantum Racing, Platoon and Sled, defender of the title achieved in 2021 in Mallorcan waters

The Rolex TP52 World Championship 2022 will start with an official training day on June 20... as an advance of five race days that will take place between 21 and 25... in which up to ten punctual, undiscounted tests will be held... the same nine teams of six nationalities who released the season in Baiona will compete.

Doug DeVos' Quantum Racing comes as a rival after being imposed last month at the Abanca 52 Super Series Baiona Sailing Week, an event in which conditions similar to those that have made Cascais' headquarters world famous were experienced at times.

The impressive palmaris of the team led by tactical Terry Hutchinson includes three wins in the four TP52 races played in the meca of the Portuguese sailing (2015, 2018 and 2019) and three world titles (2014, 2016 and 2018, the only one played in this same stage).

The Rolex TP52 World Championship is the second of the five races that make up the 52 Super Series of 2022.
