To the award, in the pants of the Nautico, came Marta Fernández- Tapas, territorial delegate of the Xunta, the president of the Nautico, José Antonio Portela, and the secretary of the Snipe class in Galicia, Ricardo Salgado

The crews of the Royal Nautical Club of La Coruña (Carlos Bermudez de Castro and César Herrero) and the combination of the real nautical clubs of Sanxenxo and Vigo (Jacobo García and Alejandro Pérez) have been classified for the Snipe Junior World Championship in Leça de Palmeira (Porto, Portugal), where they will compete from 27 to 31 July under the organization of the Atlantic Sailing Clube.

The Aecis, the national association of the class, was one of the series of events that the Xeral Secretariat for or Sport of the Xunta sponsored this year to the Viguese Nautic and in it a dozen youth crews of five Galician nautical clubs and one of Las Palmas were registered.

The two-day championship (Tuesday and Wednesday) gave world squares as did the TAP of Madrid, Valencia, Getxo, Almería and Madrid. Each country can present a top of ten crews and, with a higher share than the ten ships, the Vigo test granted two world notes.

After three races - six were planned, but time did not allow to fulfill the maximum when the day of the martes-, Bermudez de Castro and Herrero rose with the triumph with a passo regularity (2-2-1, 5 points). Mariano Stinga (RCN Arrecife) and José Bahamonde (RCN Vigo), who had won the first manga, were not able to maintain the provisional lead with a tenth in the second and its disqualification in the third. In the second test, won by Jacobo García and Alejandro Pérez, the Coruñesa crew already went to the first square to not let go and end up imposing themselves on the final race. Secondly, García and Pérez (6-1-2, 9 points), equal to points with third parties (Manuel and Pablo Lorenzo, CN Vilagarcía / RCN Sanxenxo, 3-3-3).
