First release of the Summer Sailing Trophy in asturian waters

On Saturday, in the waters of Gijón Bay, the first run of the Summer Sailing Trophy of the Royal Astur Club of Regatas was held... the day was marked by the difficult weather, with a roll wind and with continuous ups and downs in intensity, in an instant it was passed from 2 knots to 14, with the plain sea and cloudy sky.
In the Snipe class, José Luis de la Rubia and Ignacio López were the fastest in the two contested sleeves and therefore lead the class's general classification. Alvaro Alegría and Pedro Ópez- Ferrer seconds on the table, finished the two sleeves in second position. The third square is for the couple formed by Marta Sánchez and Modesto García, fourth and third in the day.
Among the Optimist, Aida Marqués, won the only manga disputed in this class and is placed in the head of the table, followed by Pablo Suárez, second to cross the line of arrival, the third position obtained it, Gonzalo Jaudenos.
Marta Durán and Carmen Ayuela in the RS Feva class, are the first leaders, after winning the second manga and being second in the first, the second position tied to points with the first are Covadonga Fernández and Carmen Simal, close the honorary posts Miguel Ribera and Manuel Oliveira.
In ILCA 6, Fernando Alonso after winning the first manga and finishing third in the second is the class's provisional leader. The second position is occupied by René Velázquez, winner of the second manga, followed by Alfonso Jaudenos, with a third and a second position.
Finally in ILCA 4, Mateo Fernández is the leader of the general after crossing the line of arrival in first and second position. Rocío Llanes is second with a third and a first, the third position is occupied by Julio Riba.
2022-06-16: The Light Sailing Summer Trophy starts in Gijón this Saturday

On Saturday it starts in the bay of Gijón, the Summer Trophy of Light Sailing that organizes the Royal Astur Club of Regatas, at 12: 30 in the morning.
The classes that will compete in asturian waters are Optimist, ILCA 4 and 6 and RS FEVA and Snipe. Two sleeves per day are expected to be held on a trapeze course, or on a stick depending on the intensity of the wind with a duration of approximately 50 minutes per sleeve.
The winners of the last edition were José Palacio and Alberto Suárez in Snipe, Gonzalo Jaudenes in Optimist, Marta Suárez and Carlota Cabrero in RS FEVA and Fernando Alonso in ILCA 6.
