From time to time this part... the North-South rivalry in the optimist has become North-North... total domain of the two Herculine squads

The Club Náutico Marina Coruña was proclaimed the Galician champion of the Optimist Class, in an event that was held in the waters of the Enchorus of As Pontes de García Rodríguez, in the middle of the province of La Coruña, in Ferrolterra, in which 17 clubs of the Community of Galicia participated, with the excellent organization of the Club de Vela Fluvial de As Pontes.

The great favorite was the Real Club Náutico de La Coruña, which had to conform to the second square, equal to points with the Club that presides the great Chuny Bermudez de Castro.

The struggle between the two Herculine squads was intense and at all times with great tension... given the tremendous equality. The Náutico were the coach of David Conde, and they had one of the most solid Galician promises, which is also the autonomous champion of the class: Fernando González del Castillo, Nora Nieto, Pedro Núñez and Arancha Rivero.

Jose Ramon Pardo Galdo "Phis" is achieving great sports results with the School of Sailing Marina Coruña, and the demonstration is the final results of this championship by teams of As Pontes, in which the team he leads, took the gold with: Jaime Díaz, Javier García, Pepe Bermudez de Castro and Victoria Pintos.
