The event was chaired by Ramiro Carregal Rey and attended the same representatives of the board of directors of the Royal Nautico Club Portosín, among whom were the hosts, as well as Juan Francisco Pouso and Manuel Dean, councillors of sports and tourism of His Excellency Concello de Porto do Son; Manuel Villaverde, president of the Royal Galician Federation of Vela; José Luís Torres Colomer, president of the Nautical Sports Club of Riveira; and Isaac Gaciño, Grand Patron of the Pescadores de Portosín

The Real Club Náutico Portosín hosted the presentation of the twenty-second edition of the Regata Ramiro Carregal Rey, emblematic test that organizes the club portosinense in collaboration with the Club Náutico y Deportivo de Riveira.

The XXII Regata Ramiro Carregal Rey will be held on June 18 and 19, with two coastal routes: one on Saturday that will take the fleet from the Ría de Muros and Noia to the Arousa, on a route of great landscape beauty, with Corrudo and the Paso de Sagres near Sálvora, Vionta and Noro, which make their way one of the most beautiful of the Rías Baixas.

The second, on the Sunday day, will be a little shorter in miles, but of similar landscape beauty by contouring Sálvora for the express desire of Carregal, because his passion for the island that in time became of his property is well known.
