Sailway, a water service company created in the city of Vigo in 2005, has just launched a new instrument of social action, the Sailway Foundation, an entity that is born to promote and facilitate access to the sea to society in general, strengthening its initial philosophy: security, sustainability and healthy life, which compends values around the natural environment and its way of understanding it in full communion with its respect and solidarity.

Campaigns of cleaning of seas and beaches, solidarity events of social inclusion or vertical formation, which instructs the children's sails with the initiation of the Optimist to the specialization in the Sail of Cruise, are only some of the pillars of the new Foundation, to which has been incorporated the Aula de Mar that leads, from the School of Sailway Sailing, the ocean regatist Gonzalo Araújo, with a special program in which subjects such as Mathematics, Language, Biology or Plastic are taught, making the teaching a moment entertaining and fun having common link, by sea.
