Kenex V, Marmotinha, Symphony and Fingolfin took the rest of the classes

The Surne- Trofeo Eskarra Regata returned to the Vizcaina waters of the Abra with the final victory of the Maitena in the Regata class, also absolute winner, of the Kenex V of Ignacio Giménez in Cruciero I, of the Marmotinha of Koldo Báez in Cruciero II, of the Symphony of Javier Onaindia in the uncertified class and of the Fingolfin among the 80 monotypes.

It is now 58 years of that longing start (57 editions after being suspended in 2020 by the pandemic), with about 30 ships of the J80 class cruise and monotypes - with departure scheduled by the Regatta Committee at 13 hours - that will sail to achieve victory in a race with a lot of pull among the crews, which consider it one of the most special of the extensive calendar of the Club de Las Arenas. This time it will also serve to score in the I Trophy Engels & Völkers.

For this reason, the regatists aspire to enlist the name of their ship in the beautiful trophy that will raise the absolute winner of an Eskarra Trophy that emerged in the 1960s of the last century by a beautiful initiative of which he was president of the Royal Maritime Club of the Abra-Real Sporting Club, Don Ramón Zubiria, as a tribute to José Luis Azqueta and his sailboat 'Eskarra'.
