The Fhimasa team of the José Luis de Ugarte School of Selling of the Real Club Marítimo del Abra-Real Sporting Club, as well as the regatist Manolo Rey-Baltar, were among the distinguished at the Bizkaia Kirolak Sariak 2022 Awards, which recognize the sports merits obtained during the year 2021 by Vizcaina and Vizcaínos athletes, technical staff, entities and events that have been highlighted for their support to the Base Sport. Manolo Rey-Baltar and Borja Reig were proclaimed in September 2021 youth European champions of the Snipe class following the competition held in Almería. Last season was very special for Manolo Rey-Baltar, who in July also was the champion of the youth world in Denmark in the class J80 with Tomás Trueba, Silvia Marcé, Perico Basterra and Nicolás Viar. Manolo Rey-Baltar and Borja Reig were also fourth in the Spanish Championship of the Snipe class in Gran Canaria.

The Fhimasa Escuela de Vela José Luis de Ugarte was recognized in the category of team sport, while Manolo Rey-Baltar in the category of young promises. All the persons awarded and recognized in the Bizkaia fronton have contributed during the exercise of 2021 to the promotion and dissemination of physical-sports activity.
