Rural Kutxa has signed a sponsorship agreement with the José Luis de Ugarte School of Selling of the Royal Maritime Club of the Abra-Real Sporting Club. This agreement with Rural Kutxa supports the sports and social development of the Real Club Marítimo del Abra and its School of Sailing, which has been in operation since 1991.

Rural Kutxa appears in the category of sponsor of the School of Selling José Luis de Ugarte, in co-sponsorship with the brands that currently sponsor this School, focused on the activity of the summer courses, in addition to those of inclusive sport that will be offered this year 2022 to people thanks to the union between the Maritime, Rural Kutxa and the Bizkaina Federation of Adapted Sport.

Thus, this agreement allows sport, in this case that of sailing, to be more accessible to all people, regardless of their condition or capabilities. Together with the Bizkaina Federation of Adapted Sport, this project promotes the beautiful experience of navigating people with some kind of physical or organic disability. There will be 30 days of exits to the sea, where two raquero vessels will be available, along with the monitors and a pneumatic. Rural Kutxa will be the one to subsidize the School of Sailing to cover the costs of courses for these people.

Rural Kutxa is committed to the values of closeness and sport and wants to make participants in its Children and Youth Program to anyone who wants it. For this reason, it will also be provided with an official pack (sports clothes and other articles) for the summer courses of the School of Vela José Luis de Ugarte. The children will receive this gift after opening their own 'On March' or 'Young IN' account of Rural Kutxa. These programmes are fully free of charge up to the age of 30 and also provide access to multiple activities with benefits for children and young people.

The Maritime is a Club dedicated to the promotion of sport, its main practice being that of sailing. It now has different areas at the service of the partners and a wide range of sports, cultural and social. The José Luis de Ugarte School of Vela offers a wide range of courses on an annual basis, thanks to which about 1,500 students are trained in the facilities of this Club each year. The courses are organized according to age, level of knowledge and type of boat, with the sustainability and care of the environment always present as one of the priorities.

The School offers these training courses in adapted sport, as well as other tailor-made courses, particular classes and nautical courses. It also provides lectures and lectures in educational institutions, collaborates with school sport, forms teams of regatists and has its own teams that train throughout the year, carries out baptisms at sea, collaborates with public and private entities or conducts training courses for monitors, among their many activities.
