The tenth edition of the Maritime Fira of the Costa Daurada has closed on Sunday a magnificent edition with sixty exhibitors, who have been able to bring their products and services closer to the fans and fans to the nautical.

In the FMCD, already a reference in the sector, the latest developments in nautical products have been seen.

In parallel, an intense programme of activities such as light sailing, kayak, SUP, cruise or rowing has been deployed; rescue and safety demonstrations, sea baptizes, as well as workshops for the children. The Fira has also hosted the celebration of the Catalan Championship of IOM, the ships led by radio control. A Championship that Ramon Soler, from the Maritim Cubelles Club, has won from the 20 participants.

After two years in which it had not been possible to celebrate, the Fira has returned with strength and received a great deal from the public. Over the three days of the FMCD, thousands of people have come to Cambrils to visit the exhibitors and practice water activities.

It also highlights the good reception of technical talks by the public and of activities to raise awareness of the practice of a responsible and environmentally friendly nautical.

Solidarity has been the main protagonist of the last day of the Maritime Fira with the arrival of the 144 swimmers and swimmers who have participated in the Swim For ELA Solidarity Trip from Calafat to Cambrils, an initiative of Malalt d'Aigua and Upside Down Challenge that has been supported by CNCB.

Over three hours the different quipos have crossed the finish line and once they were all on the ground, a large check valued at 32,140 €has been delivered to the Luzón Foundation, the amount collected by the teams participating in the journey.
