The race is integrated in the classic quote with the Solitaries and A-Two that is 16 editions this 2022

The Bouzas Maritime Liceo convokes the Cruise Class in a new edition of one of its classic quotes, the Volta ás Cíes, which in this 2022 is 16 years old since its foundation, providing an additional incentive to the race of the Circuit of Solitaries and A Two, the creation of the Trophy Xoán Ramón Carballo Alvite, in memory of whoever was president of the Bouchense entity and that will reward the best ship of the general classification extracted from both categories.

The presentation, made this morning at the premises of the Bouzas Maritime Liceo, was attended by the president of the Royal Galician Federation of Vela, Manuel Villaverde; the manager of Adetas Ladairo, Victor López; the CEO of TuyPan, Marcos Pérez; the representative of DeckMarine, Javier Montenegro; and the president of the organization and convener of the race, Miguel Pereira, who served as the host and moderator of the event.

The race is at a single day and will have the Top of departure, as long as the weather conditions allow, at 11 hours on Saturday 21 May, to circumnavigate the Cis Islands from south to north or from north to south, depending on the direction of the wind to cross the outer maritime side of its cliffs always in the stern, causing spinnaker or jennaker, which causes a safer and more straight navigation.
