The Asturian city of Gijón will host the first test to be held in Cantabrian waters in the history of the Cutty Sark "Spirit of Adventure" FKSS.

After a record start on the island of Mallorca, where more than 70 regatists of 16 nationalities met, Gijón, with the novelty of the spot, is expected to awaken a great interest among the Riders and the spectacle of the colorful paragliding of this sport delights all the public to approach the center of Gijón beach.

One of the great developments of the race in Gijón will be the incorporation of the Cutty Sark "Spirit of Adventure" FKSS into the Eurosaf calendar, being this stop in Asturias the first to be supported by the European Sailing Federation. A firm that shows the consolidation of the circuit and the recognition of the five seasons of continuous growth in Europe.
