The port of Vigo this morning hosted one of the most peculiar disapproval and discharge operations in the year, that of the ships that at the end of this month will compete in the Abanca 52 Super Series- Baiona Sailing Week, organized by Mount Real Club of Yates.

Under the supervision of the logistics company Peters & May, in charge of bringing them to Galicia from the Valencian port of Sagunto on board a freighter, the sailboats were unloaded one by one until they touched the waters of the Rías Baixas.

In addition to the TP52, which once downloaded continue by sea their journey to Baiona, on Wednesday the 18 containers of each of the crews and the organization are also downloaded in Vigo, which later, on the 16th, will be taken by land to Mount Real Club de Yates.

In Baiona they have been evicting and preparing the entire entrance area to the National Parador and the Mount Real Club of Yates in order to be able to locate the containers there... in addition, in the marina of the club has had to carry out a great restructuring of ships in order to reserve a whole pants for the TP52.

A great organizational and logistical deployment for which it will certainly be one of the sports events of the year in Galicia. In the Abanca 52 Super Series - Baiona Sailing Week, from May 23 to 28, the Allegre (UK), Gladiator (UK), Interlodge (USA), Phoenix (South Africa), Platoon (Germany), Provizza (Turkey), Quantum Racing (USA), Sled (USA) and Team Vayu (Thailand) will compete.
