The race was organized by the Club Orillas de Alocén and was attended by over a hundred athletes from different autonomous communities of Spain (Photo Surf3)

The first Spanish Cup of Sup Race Alocén 2022 was held in Alocén (Guadalajara) in the long distance mode, organized by the Club Orillas de Alocen... which managed to bring together a hundred Spanish regatists.

The competition took place at the Escuela de Municipal de Vela de Alocén, located in the reservoir of Entrepeñas, coinciding with its official reopening after eleven years of closure of this extraordinary sports facility.

The competition was a success and during the first day of the morning, the races of the different age categories were normally developed.

The distance from this male category of Elite was 10 kilometres, at a very high rate and in which, in the head, two groups of four separate participants were formed at a short distance.

In the first of the groups, made up of Nicolás Berrero, Pablo Ania, Lluis Cubedo and Samuel Torrico, the competitiveness was tremendous, maintaining a minimum distance between them during almost the entire test. A few meters from the arrival, the Spanish-speaking Pablo Ania, surpassed Nico Berrero and was able to reach the goal in first position.

In the female elite category, the padelist Zoe Naiara was certainly the most prominent sportsman. This competitor, from the Sup Republic of Alicante club, made most of the race while keeping a comfortable distance on its rivals and entering a very outstanding goal.
