K4 podium in 500 meters

The reservoir of Pontillón do Castro de Verducido, again became the epicenter of the patrician pyragüismo by hosting the II Cup of Spain Sprint 2022 for the young and senior categories on double and quadruple vessels at the distances of 1000, 500 and 200 meters.

The first place in the general team classification would be for the Madrid group of the Piragüismo Aranjuez, followed by the Náutico Sevilla and the Real Circle of Labradores. Among the first ten are four Galician sets such as the seventh O Grove Breogan, the E.P City of Pontevedra in eighth and As Torres tenth... in addition the Breogan stood out in the senior male category in which it ended in a meritorious third position.

The Galician athletes had a remarkable performance with several triumphs in the various tests. So in the distance of 500 meters the male K4 of the Lugo River was made with the gold medal while the boat of the Kayak Tudense was bronze. The C4 of the Breogan took the victory and the female K4 of the Kayak Tudense ended in third place.

The C2 of Antita Jácome and Claudia Couto of the E.P. The city of Pontevedra managed to win the two final 200 and 500 meters.

Another of the highlights of the weekend was that of the couple of the Club de Mar Ria de Aldán formed by Carlos Pérez Perucho and Diego Dacosta after signing a gold at the end of 200 meters, a silver at 1000 meters and a bronze at the K2 500 meters.

In the way of Paracanoe the palist of the Piragüismo Rías Baixas Adrián Mosquera managed to impose in the final 500 and 200 meters of PV3. Elena Naveiro del Breogán finished second and third in PK3. In turn Enriques Navas was also third in PK2 and finally, Ramón Fernández del Cidade de Lugo finished in the third in PK3.
