Marnatura1 won LaGuardiMoreira in the Villalia after an end of heart attack
Marnatura1 of the fleet of J70 of the Royal Nautical Club of Vigo with Luis Bugallo to the cane, Enrique Freire shipowner and tactical, Javier de la Gandara Jr, Alejandro Prego and Manuel Cunha and with the preparation of the Malagueño Carlos Llamas, one of the most important snipists worldwide of all time; it has been imposed on the Villalia Spring Series that ended in Galician waters... with loose winds (6-8 knots) that began from the north-east and ended up being of the south-west... what was allowed to be celebrated in the four more of this Sunday.
Eight events of the Villalia Spring Series were held with a total of 25 sleeves, organized by the Class of this monotype of reference with the support of the Vigo nautical... that together with the Barcelona Spring Series share the national protagonism in the start of the season.
In the absence of the last act it seemed that the situation was very favourable to the excellent Viguese pattern Luis Bugallo, who has many achievements in his curriculum despite his youth, such as having been part of the Spanish Team of Youngs America's Cup or proclaiming himself an amateur world champion of J70 with the Marnatura, for giving two examples.
But nothing further than reality, because Gonzalo Araújo made it very complicated, to the point that Bugallo was about to lose the lead and the following data were worth: the LaGuardia & Moreira achieved 4 victories in the 8 sleeves held in the last act, and in the whole event the first 9!... those of Araújo had not been discounted any score had added 104 gross points... by 108 of those of Bugallo. In the end until the last few meters Gonzalo was able to impose himself... at only three net points.
But the struggle was also in bronze, which was achieved by the Orensian Jorge Pérez Canal with Red April; who achieved a partial victory in the last act, as did the Lithuanian Olympic medals with SailCascais of Lisbon (the Toniste brothers) and Marnatura1 itself.
The fourth place in this event was for the Canterans of the also pattern of the City of Burgas: Alejandro Pérez Canal with a young crew with many quality carats. His great performance this weekend, it was good for Alex to climb up to the seventh square... on a final table in which Pazo de Cea, Sogacsa and April Verde occupied the high area of the general.
The top ten were completed by the Solventis of the Coruñés Malalo Bermudez de Castro, Sail Cascais and Marnatura2. Now the Spanish fleet of J70 in the waters of the Valencia Community, organized by the Regal Club Náutico de Denia, the Spanish Championship... to be held from 12 to 14 June.

2022-05-07: Luis Bugallo with Marnatura 1 at a step to win the Villalia Spring J70 Series

The Marnatura 1, with the young Viguese pattern Luis Bugallo to the cane, took a decisive step in the Villalia Spring J70 Series to achieve the absolute victory to proclaim himself the absolute winner of this event... which is a reference of the fashion class among the monotypes at the national level, along with the Spring Series in Barcelona.
The Catalan series, which are being held in the City of Condal, share with the olive-rich protagonists and even sportsmen and ships, in the events held in Barcelona and Vigo waters with a monthly cadence, by the hand of the Real Nautical Club of Vigo and the Real Nautical Club of Barcelona.
Good sea and wind conditions in the Viguese river, which facilitated the work of the team of technicians of the Coruñés judge Jaime García. The winds of the south-west, attached to its strength of 12 to 14 knots and a sea in an ideal state made it easier for on Saturday to celebrate four sleeves, and indeed very quickly. The only incidents were a general call in the opening sleeve, and a disqualification of the Lithuanian Olympic medals, the Toniste brothers, which took them out of the first positions of the day.
Precisely the Sails Cascais with Tönu Toniste to the cane was made with the first sleeve. The second position was for the leader, for Marnatura de Luis Bugallo and the third for a great Pazo de Cea who was the third.
I would repeat the position of Bugallo in the following two tests, to be imposed on the fourth of Saturday... with which I completed a great day with 2 ° -2° -2° -1... that puts to Gonzalo Araújo the very difficult things, even though it was quite well: 7 ° -1° -1° -3rd... achieving two partial victories, with a cast of oars at the end of Saturday for Sail Cascais (1), Marnatura (1) and La Guardia & Moreira (2)
Back April Green of Luis Pérez Canal was done with the third test of the day in extremis, by benefiting from its regularity on the one hand and that the Lithuanians made in the fourth and last a very low score, because of its disqualification. For its part, Ramón Ojea kept the Pazo de Cea among the first, being the fifth silver for the Sailway Academy (the Madrid Castilla as it is known in the environment) filled with young promises with an extraordinary future, and which has as its patron the young bourensian cane Alejandro Pérez Canal of the Club Marítimo de Canido.
They complete the top ten of this penultimate day of the Villalia event: Red April of Jorge Pérez Canal, Dogacsa of Sancho Páramo, Sail Cascais with the Lithuanian Tönu Toniste to the cane, Willy Alonso and the Herculine Correa Kesller of the Cabanas club. The sentence this Sunday from 10: 00 in the morning, with four other sleeves in the Ria de Vigo... except for surprises the open gap between Marnatura and La Guardia & Moreira seems decisive.

2021-05-06: Marnatura 1 and LaGuardia & Moreira are disputed the title of the Villalia Spring J70 Series in Vigo
The Villalia Spring J70 Series is a reference event for the monotype of fashion in our country, along with the Barcelona Spring Series of Catalonia... it celebrates its last event in Galician waters by the Royal Nautical Club of Vigo and the Association of the J70 Class.
After having competed to date in a total of 18 sleeves, the classification table is frankly tight in the first squares... in which two ships of the Nautico de Vigo will play the gold in the last act: the Marnatura 1 that patronizes Luis Bugallo and the La Guardia & Moreira de Gonzalo Araújo.
It will be two days, beginning on Saturday at 1: 30 p.m. and Sunday at 10: 00 a.m.. The level will again be really high, again competing in Vigo the Olympic lisboeta Vasco Sherpa at the J70 Herculino Solventis de Malalo Bermudez de Castro, which in the last act was second, after a Gonzalo Araújo who had been huge with his Guardia & Moreira.
Others that will not fail will be the Olympic medals of Lithuania, the brothers Tönu and Toomas Toniste, who will be in the SailCascais, with which they reached in their debuo in Vigo a meritorious third square... leaving behind units such as the Red April of Jorge Pérez Canal, the Sogacsa of Sancho Paramo and the Green April of Luis Pérez Canal... and the very Pazo de Cea that had an exceptional crew, in the Olympic Viguese medal Nico Rodríguez.
In general the leader is Luis Bugallo with his Marnatura one of the best patterns today in the world of the Spanish heavy sail, accumulates 45 points... but eye that Bugallo cannot afford many failures, as it has a 9 as the best score among the discarded. Gonzalo Araújo is six points away, with 51 in total in the same situation with another 9 despised.
In the programming of this closing act there may be up to eight tests... as long as seven are held, each J70 could dispense with its worst score... however the part of the meteor does not make it easy, as much heat is anticipated and not excessive wind. Which if it is clear that with the manifest equality with which you reach the end of the Villalia Spring Series, you will take the cat to the water... the one who does not make mistakes.
