The Liga Iberdrola de Vela Feminina 2022, organized by the Real Federación Española de Vela, has been set up in the Real Club Marítimo del Abra-Real Sporting Club de Getxo, with the presentation of this circuit that will have four tests in the national calendar.

The competition will begin with the 3rd EKP International Women's Sailing Cup race of the RCMA / RSC from 13 to 15 May, a test to be followed by the Tembra Vela, which will organize the RCR Alicante on 8 and 9 July. The women's fleet of J80 will meet again during the Mapfre King's Cup, from August 1 to 6, in the RCN Palma and, another year, will close the season and the League the Mount Real Club of Yates of Baiona from October 7 to 9, uncovering the winning team.

This important female circuit is disputed with ships of the J80 mono-type class, which has several crews participating in the various races distributed throughout the national territory, with two tests on the Atlantic coast and two in the Mediterranean.

The Dorsia Sailing Team of Nuria Sánchez and patronized by Olympic medalist Natàlia Via-Dufresne, who rose with the champion trophy at the premiere of the Women's Sailing League, has announced that she will repeat participation in the circuit, defending the title obtained in 2021. Next to them, they will compete in the regatta of Getxo another 14 ships.
