The Pontevedresa town of Verducido has again been the stage where the best palists in the Spanish landscape have been quoted to contest the II Selective, organized by the Royal Spanish Federation of Piragüismo, to select representatives of the national combination in the next international competitions.

In the male category, the K4 that won the Olympic silver in Tokyo 2020 has demonstrated its superiority in the 500-meter final, thus achieving a new opportunity to represent Spain in the next World Cup. The other vessel of the K4 that will go to the world event is that of: Carlos Garrote, Iñigo Peña Lázaro López de Haro and Cristian Toro.

Cayetano García and Pablo Martínez took the test in the C2 500, dating in the final meters in a very equal test.

For its part, in the female category, the C2 was a recital of the couple formed by María Corbera and Antana Jácome, who commanded the test from beginning to end, thus demonstrating its strength as the best canoists in Spain.

The female K4 was the most disputed race of the morning with an agonic victory of the boat formed by Carolina García, Laia Pèlachs, Sara Ouzande and Teresa Portela, who celebrated his 40th birthday with a victory that gives him the ticket for the World Cup.
