Pontequures and Ria de Aldas were the winners on the track of Verdudo

The first event of the Galician League for the children's category 2022 was held in the facilities of the Daul Cal Sports Centre, on the distance of 3000 meters, with a participation of 38 teams and 391 athletes. The celebration of the race was planned in the Orensano municipality of Arnoia but it has not been possible since the body that holds the use of water sheet, the MiñoSil Hydrographic Confederation (CHMS), has not given permission.

The general team classifications ended with the Pontequures Nautical Club in the first position of the female classification, ahead of the O Muiño Nautic and the E.P. City of Pontevedra. The first place in the male classification would be for the Club de Mar Ria de Aldán that was imposed on the Lugo River and the E.P. City of Pontevedra.

The individual results left us in the category Children B to Elena González del Altruán de Riabadeo as winner in Kayak woman, followed Catuxa Suárez (Piragüismo Illa de Arousa) and Inés Arias (Piragüismo Ourense). In male kayak Martín González (Ria de Aldán) won the victory against his immediate persecutors Breixo Pazos and Manuel Gónmez, both of the Piragüismo Río Verdugo. In the canoe mode Tomás Pérez (As Torres) took the victory, being the silver medal for Brais Cancelas (Ria de Aldán) and the bronze medal for Adrián Pousa (Ria de Aldán). In women the first three places were occupied by the palists belonging to the Nautico Pontedecures Sabela Duro, Lidia Rodríguez and Sheila Agrasar.

Finally, the different winners of the child category A were in kayak women Sofia Parada (Piragüismo Cambados), followed by Iris Corredoira (Náutico Cobres) and Eva García (Náutico Cobres), for their part Gael Bernal (Piuragüismo Verdudo) won the test in kayak, with a slight advantage over the second classified Marcos González (Naval de Pontevedra) and the third in discord Lucas Chao (Piragüismo Ourense). On the contrary in the canoe mode, the first classified would be Alejandro Pérez (Lugo's Fluvial), the second place was taken by Daniel Davila (as Torres), being third Javier Cid (Ria de Betanzos), the first three squares of the female general were occupied by Marta Castiñeiras (as Torres), Sara Vila (Nautico Pontedecures) and Silvia Gago (Nautico O Muiño).
