2022-04-29: White day for European Master's Snipes in Valencia

The European Snipe Master Championship, which has started today in the waters of Valencia, has not had a good start, yet even though the race committee has tried.

At that time, when the fleet was on its way to the race area, the wind reached 8 to 10 knots of intensity, but approaching the time scheduled to start the championship the wind has been diluted, forcing to set up a deferral on the committee ship... after almost an hour of waiting it was going to try to close a test... in defensive blank day. Tomorrow again from noon the first two sleeves are scheduled.

The quinielas also enter the final podium, among others are the Italian Fabio Rochelli or the Spanish Fabio Bruggioni, the current champion of Spain Master 2021, being accompanied by Eduardo Molina, both sailing the RCN of Madrid. With absolute podium options no doubt the looks will focus on the Argentine Luis Soubie forming a couple with the Spanish Laura Morata.

It is worth noting, among those registered, a whole legend within the Snipe fleet: 'Nano' Belda that, with 90 years just completed, he will take out his Snipe of wood to compete. Along with the Valencian and competing for the RCN of Valencia, there are among others Agustín Zabalua, one of the great bazas of the Valencian club to place the top ten. Along with him, good regatists case of Gonzalo Calvo and Alexandre Tinoco, Rafa de Tomás, Alejandro de Castro or in mixed crew with Marisa Arlandis and Germán Camarero and with options Jorn Haga (RCN Motril) and Esperanza Pérez (RCR Cartagena).
