It ends the J70 Spring Regatta 2022 monotypes race that is held in Barcelona's waters and organizes the Real Club Náutico de Barcelona.

On Friday after an hour on the ground for lack of wind, the first tests were started with a very soft rising wind and two of the four sleeves were completed. Autolica TropicfeeL de Terrades and Luis M. Doreto led this third act with a -2-1-, followed by 'Can Marlès' with the patron Jorge Martínez Doreeste -1-3- and thirdly, the English 'Seriousfun' by Tony Hayward -3-2-.

The second day was accompanied by excellent conditions of stable wind of rise and between 7-9 knots, the four sleeves planned were disputed. Can Marlès recovered his lead, ahead of 'Autolica Tropicfeel' with a -6-3-1-4-. The fleet of Lisbon Irrational Exuberance led by the Olympic Vasco Serpa managed to enter the podium with a -1-7-2-1.

Sunday, the day of the outcome, remained the same conditions as in the previous day, ending the four sleeves of the day, in which Can Marlès remained leader, winning the third act (1-3-2-4), followed by the English Seriousmun (5-2-1-2) who obtained the second place, and the third locker is for the Portuguese Irrational Exuberance.

Barcelona J70 Spring Regatta concludes with a total of 25 contested sleeves, four discards, and 11 partitioning boats. The young crew 'Bodega Can Marlès', by Jorge Martínez Dureste (CN Vilanova), with Ángel Blázquez, Fátima Diz, Món Cañellas, Pancho de Budallés and Alberto Guillén with 46 points, are proclaimed winners of the 2022 edition.

The second position is for the canarian crew of the Autolica- Tropicfeel formed by Luis Martínez Doreeste, Adolfo López, Guti del Castillo and Ricardo Terrades of the Real Nautico Club of Barcelona, RCN Arrecife and RCN Gran Canaria with 55 points.

The J70 of the RCNB, Noticia de Luis Martín Cabiedes with Pablo Santurde, Maria Monràs, Jon Larrazábal, Alberto Padron, and a total of 67 points close the podium.

2022-05-24: The J70 Autolica-Tropicfeel improves and ends second in Barcelona

In the waters of the city Condal the second event of the International Barcelona Spring Series of J70, organized as usual by the Real Club Nautico of Barcelona, was held. Weather conditions were extreme.

On Friday, during the first day, the regatists were able to sail intensively with a fresh wind blowing between 15 and 18 knots.

The day ended with a podium headed by "Tenaz" by Pablo Garriga, who managed to impose himself on the three sleeves, followed by "Noticia" by Luis Martín Cabiedes who finished second in the three trials, while the canaries of the "Autolica- Tropicfeel" led by Luis Martínez Doreeste rose with bronze in the three races. After this curious regularity the provisional podium was "Tenaz" (3 points), "Noticia" (6 points) and "Autolica-Tropicfeel" (9 points).

On Saturday the sky was darkened and the cocksuckers made an act of presence. The wind was set at 23 knots with rache that reached over 30 knots... Pere Sarquella at the head decided to correct all the tests of the day.

On Sunday, the first manga was for "Autolica-Tropicfeel," followed by "Can Marlés" in second position, "Tenaz" in third and "Noticia" that finished rooms.

In the second he won "Autolica-Tropicfeel," followed by "Noticia," "Can Marlés" was third and the fourth position was now for "Tenaz."

With 5 races, the worst result can be ruled out, which made the final classification of this second event of the International Barcelona Spring Series as follows:

2022-04-21: J70's competition with Barcelona Spring Regatta returns

From this Friday to Sunday, the J70 monotypes will fight in Barcelona waters, which will be their second act of this race, after closing the 2021-2022 season of the Barcelona Winter Series last March.

The team 'Bodega Can Marlès' (CN Vilanova) with Jorge Martínez Doreste leads this race after 10 contested sleeves, accumulating five first posts and a total of 18 points. En second position 'Tenaz' (RCNB) by Pablo Garriga and Rayco Tabares with 27 points, and third position 'Autolica-Tropicfeel' (RCNB / RCNA / RCNGC) by Ricardo Terrades and Luis Martínez Doreeste with 29 points.

This event will consist of three days, starting on Friday and scheduled departure at 14: 00, Saturday and Sunday at 12: 00, with 4 tests scheduled per day.

The Barcelona J70 Spring Series 2022, is held in March, April and May, the latter coinciding with the Championship of Catalonia of J70 and prelude of the 49 Trophy of Vela Conde Godó, in which a wide participation in the fleet J70 is expected.
