He successfully completed a new edition of the Community Trophy of Mount Real Club of Yates, which this year extended tours and joined partners to celebrate a double race with exits from Commud and Vigo, both with arrival in Baiona.

The first to hear the initial horn was the test that started from Commud, in which a single category, that of ORC, was put into place. At 12: 00 noon, the seven cruises to complete that route took a course through the river of Pontevedra.

The fastest to complete the test was the Maracaná del RCM Aguete, patronized by Carlos García; and after the time compensation, the Commud version... second Balea Dous by Luis Pérez and the Sagar V Ro Yachts by Rolando Andrade third was also won.

In the Vigo-Baiona test, the first to cross the line of arrival was the Magical de Julio Rodríguez (RCN Vigo) that competed in the class ORC 1-2-3, ahead of the Oils April of Luis and Jorge Pérez Canal of the Viguese nautical and of the Bon III of Victor Carrión, of the CN Punta Lagoa, which remained second and third.

In the class ORC 4-5-6, the gold also went to the Royal Nautical Vigo Club by hand of the Deep Blue 2.1 of Vicente Cid. The Black Mockery of Juan José Martínez (CN Castrelo de Miño) and the Nahela of Víctor Manuel Álvarez (CD Alagua), took the silver and the bronze.

In A2, Salaño Dos de Jacobo Vecino and Brenda Maure beat the Vigués Bonaventure, José Luis Ríos and María Jesús Montes; and on Rodrigo Rodríguez and Rodrigo Rodríguez Campos del Alalunga del Marítimo de Canido.

15 J80 with the victory of the Alboroto de Javier Aguado (MRCYB), ahead of the Due de Rafael Blanco (RCN Portosin) and the Spaco de Santiago Estévez (MRCYB), second and third respectively.

Among the Fibaro of the School of the Royal Mount, the Bouvento of Javier Bernardez was the best... second Tutatis of Zoe Ayestarán and third Serralleiras of Julia Correa.

More than 40 ships from Galicia and Portugal will be held the first cruise competition that the Monte Real Club de Yates takes on stage in this 2022. The Community Trophy, which the Baionese club organizes together with the Royal Nautical Club of Vigo and the Marina of Commud with the sponsorship of the company of A Guarda Comunica Visual Communication, will include two coastal races that will travel the Rias of Pontevedra and Vigo.

At 12: 00 noon, a group of 8 crews will leave from Commud to Baiona with about 23 miles of route ahead. On the tour the ships will sail in the vicinity of the Ons and Cis islands, and will have the beacons of La Negra and Carallones as forced steps. From Commud you will sail ships such as the Ronática Marinas de Jorge Carnero (CN San Telmo), the Maracaná de Carlos García (RCM Aguete), La Incredible, de Manuel Cameans (Ro Yacht Club) or the Balea Dous de Luis Pérez (RCN Rodeira), among others.

At two o'clock in the afternoon, the start-up will be given to the fleet that Vigo chose as the starting point, a larger group of more than 30 cruises. For them, the race instructions provide for different routes between which the most suitable one will be chosen according to the conditions of wind and sea, which will be quite good according to the forecasts.

In the course of 13 to 20 miles between Vigo and Baiona, ships such as the Magical of Julio Rodríguez (RCN Vigo), the Deep Blue 2.1 of Vicente Cid (RNC Vigo), the Secolite of Javier Rey (MRCYB), the Black Burla of Juan José Martínez (CN Castrelo de Miño), the Unus of Luis García Trigo (MRCYB), the Nahela of Victor Manuel Álvarez (CD Alagua), or the Portuguese crew of Ifaclinic.com (Yate, by Porto, Cludo, among others.

4 vessels have registered to compete in the category A Two, with a master and a single crew member on board. They are those of Salaño dos de Jacobo Vecino and Brenda Maure (RCN Vigo), the Bonaventure of José Luis Ríos and María Jesús Montes (RCN Vigo), the Lacazán of Mariano Benavente and Roberto Telle (LM Bouzas) and the Alalunga of Rodrigo Rodríguez Gutierrez and Rodrígo Rodríguez Campos (CM Canido).

All ORCs will compete with compensated times and J80 and Fibarians monotypes will compete in real time. Among the 8-metre fleet will be the Miudo de Yago Marquina, the Namasté de Luis de Mira, the Spaco de Santiago Estévez, the Cansino de Alejandra Suárez, the Alboroto de Javier Aguado, the Pazo de Cea de María Campos, the Ay Carmela! de Juan Martinez- Pazo (LM Bouzas), or the Due de Rafael Blanco (RCN Portosín), among others.

And in the Figgaro class they will compete 6 monotypes owned by the Monte Real Club of Yates with crews formed by students of the School of Sailing of the Club among which there will be some female teams. The Monte Real is still one more year with its commitment to the women's sailing and in this competition will deliver a special prize to the best ship manned by women.

The Mount Real Club de Yates inaugurates on Saturday its 2022 cruise season with the Community Trophy, which this year is broken to include two different races, one from the river of Pontevedra and the other from the river of Vigo.

Therefore, as a great novelty, the participating ships will be able to choose between Commud and Vigo as a starting point, but both options will converge in an intermediate point of the journey and will agree on the arrival, which will be located in the same place for the entire fleet.

The most mature test will be that of Comarto - Baiona, with departure planned for 12 noon in the vicinity of the Marina Comarto Sports Port, which collaborates with the Monte Real in the organization of the event. From the coast of the picturesque Pontevedrés village, the sailboats will have a route of about 22 nautical miles ahead.

Less tour will make the sailboats that choose for Vigo as the starting point, for which it is estimated that they will be about 15 miles away. This test design, with an expected departure at two o'clock in the afternoon from the vicinity of the Vigués port, was the one that had traditionally been disputed thanks to the collaboration of the Royal Nautical Club of Vigo.

If the estimates of the race committee are fulfilled, a point will come at which the sailing boats coming through the river of Pontevedra and those sailing through the river of Vigo are grouped, expected around the area of the Cí Islands. From there, the fleet will undertake to the same end, in the vicinity of Baiona, and it will be at Mount Real Club of Yates where the award is held from 7: 00 in the afternoon.
