1,045 palists from 106 clubs met at the CEAR de La Cartuja for the LII Spanish Children's and Cadet Championship
15 days ago, the Senior, Juveniles and Sub23 enjoyed two great days of pyragüism at the CEAR of La Cartuja in Seville, on this occasion it was the turn of the youngest Spanish pyragüismo, who gathered in the same place for the LII Spanish Championship Young Children's and Cadete's Promise 3,000 and 5,000 meters.
Two days of race in which the more than 2,500 visitors who came to the Sevillian compound enjoyed the youngest, their effort, their struggle and their satisfaction for having competed in an immaculate way. A quote that, as already happened with the Winter Championship, could be followed live through the streaming that produced the RFEP on its YouTube channel and that accumulated a total of 20,000 visualizations.
On Saturday after six K1 ranking races in Cadete A and B, the shift for the final of the spade puppies was reached. The children, both A and B, in K1, C1 and Paracanoe, fought among themselves and against a strong wind, to fight the medals and the title of Spanish champion.
It was the Infantiles B who opened fire in the races that repaired the presets. Thus, in the K1 3,000 category, the winner was Eider Cecilia, of the Santiagarark Sports Society Club, while, in boys, the title went to the hands of Martín González Fernandez, of the Club de Mar Ría de Aldán-Gandón. In the test of the C1 3,000, in the female category, the victory was for Lucía Pizarro Gonzalo, the Club Escuela Piragüismo Aranjuez and Álvaro Pedrosa Díaz, the Club Náutico Sevilla, which was proclaimed champion of Spain. In turn, the category of Paracanoe KL3 was also completed, in which Rafael García Pinto, of Club Piragüismo Extremadura, and Carlota Blanca Romero, of Club Náutico Sevilla, in men and women respectively, took the title home.
On the afternoon day the program was closed with four other finals. In the C1 3,000 Children A, the victory was won by Marta Candón Villalba, from the SD Commercial and Industrial Circle of Seville, while, in the boys, the gold went to the hands of the palist of the Royal Nautical Club of Palma, Iker Fernández Niell. In the K1 3,000, the title of Spanish champion was for Telma Trinidad del Hoyo, of the Iuxtanam Polysports Club of Merida, and for Francisco González Sánchez Mora, of the Placement School of Piragüismo.
Sunday morning began with the end of the A & B Cadets The first to go to the water was the C1 5,000m women, which, in the A, the title was for Nerea Novo Romero of the Pontedeceiures Nautical Club and in the B for Candela Romero Rey, also of that Club. Then it was Alejandro Heras Araújo of the Nautico Ensidesa Club, who won the Spanish championship of the C1 5,000 in the category of Cadete B. In the same category, but in K1 5,000, the Oros were won by Celia Llera Serrano of the Basic Sports Club of Piragüismo El Sella and Borja López González of the Cabanas Club KDM. The Spanish champion of Paracanoe KL3 in the Cadete category was for Nicolas Martínez Adenga, of the Lugo River Club.
The LII edition of the Spanish Championship concluded with the three star tests of the weekend, the K1 and C1 Cadet A finals. In the first of these, the oros fell on the necks of Yaiza Novo Fernández of the Los Gorillas Club of Candas and Victor Pizarro Dorado of the Piragüismo Aranjuez School Club. While the C1, where there was only a male end, the new Spanish champion is Ulises Colastra Alvarez of the Club Escuela Piragüismo Aranjuez. As for the participating clubs, the final victory was taken by the Club Escuela Piragüismo Aranjuez, which took a single advantage of the SD Commercial and Industrial Circle of Seville.
