LaGuardia & Moreira with Gonzalo Araújo to the cane, was the owner and lord of the penultimate act of the Villalia Spring J70 Series organized by the Class of this monotypes and the Royal Nautical Club of Vigo ended in the afternoon of Sunday in viguese waters.

The pattern was established in the olive city, and on the eve of the beginning of which has been one of the most vibrant monotypes competitions in Galicia... coming from Valparaíso (Chile) where it had offered an exhibition in the international competitions of 12-meter monotypes... and despite the accumulated tiredness of competitions and the long journey from Santiago de Chile, it was masterful on Saturday (1-1-2) and proud on Sunday (1-1-3)... what it has been worth for the still leader, the Marnatura1 of Luis Bugallo... to feel the breath of the world.

And if the Araújo people gave a whole recital, neither those of the Lusian Olympic diplomas that sailed in the Solventis of the Nautical Club Ria de Ares... nor the Olympic medals of 470 Lithuanian: the Tönu and Toomas Toniste brothers... who with SailCascais, completed the podium of the penultimate act; in which also were very toned the ones of Sancho Paramo, the Sogascsa... who had the competition of an entire Olympic gold, as is the Tamegoa.

The fifth square was for April Green by Luis Pérez Canal, which was located ahead of another J70 with Olympic marching: the Cea Pazo de Ramón Ojea, in which he sailed the bronze in Tokyo, the Vigués Nico Rodríguez.

After them, the leader: Marnatura1 of Luis Bugallo who did not have a good weekend: 5-2-9-6-3 and two retreats, the Red April of Jorge Pérez Canal, the other Marnatura, closing the table the Sailway Academy with the young Alejandro Pérez Canal to the cane in command of a crew of promises (a ship to which the Madrid Castilla is lovingly nicknamed) filled with regatists of boys with a tremendous future ahead... with several champions of the world in youth classes.

After them the Atlantic Valmy of Alberto Figueira and the Coruñés of the newly created Cabanas Nautical Club... the Correa- Kessler of that great Herculine pattern that is Fran Edreira.

These are the classifications of both the penultimate and the cumulative acts, in the absence of the decisive act, which will be held on 7 and 8 May in viguese waters.

The Galician pattern Gonzalo Araújo in command of the J70 LaGuardia & Moreira, is the provisional leader of the Villalia Spring Series after the first day of the fourth act held in the viguese waters of the J70 Class and the Royal Nautical Club.

The Viguese pattern curved an excellent series of 1-1-2 and goes on not only to dominate at the event of this weekend, but to put the place of privilege in the general that with a Marnatura 1 of Luis Bugallo at the front, he is seriously threatened his leadership.

Araújo that came from Valparaiso in Chile to impose in the international series of 12 meters, was proud in Vigo and was certainly the best adapted to the soft winds of the northwest, which allowed to cover three sleeves this Saturday.

After those of Araújo, there were those of the Orensian Jorge Pérez Canal that with a partial of 2-3-4 managed to enter the podium, just ahead of the SailCascais that had the contest of the Lithuanian brothers Tönu and Toomas Töniste on this occasion (Olympic silver and bronze in 470).

The other two Olympic medalists who are competing in this event of the Villalia Spring Series: the Vigués Nico Rodríguez and the Orensana Tamara Echegoyen, were sailing respectively on the Cea Pazo of Ramón Ojea, which was imposed on the third and last manga of Saturday and on the Sogacsa of Sancho Paramo and on the rebound Pablo Iglesias.

It should be noted that the Olympic Lisboeta Vasco Sherpa diploma sailed in the J70 Coruñés Solventis, which usually has the excellent Herculine pattern Malalo Bermudez de Castro.

With these data the classification is tightened in the head, still being the leader, Marnatura 1 of Luis Bugallo with 25 points, followed by LaGuardia & Moreira with 38 and in the third square is Jorge Pérez Canal with Red April that accumulates 47 points. For the second day Sunday that marks the end of the penultimate series punctuable for these Villalia Spring Series, from 10: 00 in the morning... ahead more sleeves in the Ria de Vigo.

The Villalia Spring J70 Series face their penultimate act in Galician waters, by the Class Association and the Royal Nautical Vigo Club with full control of Marnatura 1 with the olivico Luis Bugallo to the controls, one of the best patterns of Spanish heavy sailing today... who already knows what it is to be part of the national team at a Young America's Cup on the Bermuda Islands and have a world title as an amateur in this class of monotypes.

The podium for the time being, it is completed by other illustrious ones such as Gonzalo Araújo, who returns from Valparaiso in Chile, where he won in the 12-metre races and the Orensano Luis Pérez Canal, which in his palmarés has an amateur European title in the J70 class.

In competition in the Vigo Ria, on Saturday beginning at 1: 30 in the afternoon, and on Sunday at 10: 00 in the morning... there will be no less than 4 Olympic medallists!: a golden girl, as in the case of the Orensana Tamara Echegoyen, who enters the Sogacsa crew that marches for the moment of fourth in the general.

Amen to three boys of silver and bronze... on the one hand the Viguese Nico Martínez who achieved bronze in Tokyo in 470, who will sail in the Cea Pazo that patronea Ramón Ojea and on the other the Lithuanian brothers Tönu and Toomas Töniste that accumulate medals in the 470 class (a silver and a bronze, achieved within the team of the Soviet Union), who will be with the Portuguese Olympic Vasco Serpa, which is a great laserist and Olympic diploma, in the Sailcais that marches from the fifth in general.

The weekend is therefore of high quality for the J70 who are competing in the Villalia Spring Series, with a great deal of quality among the participants who marched Olympic will be measured this weekend in their penultimate act.
