The F50 Victoria in San Francisco to get into the Grand Final SailGP

During the first days of training in San Francisco, the Spanish team is already preparing the next season, as Florian Trittel, the Spanish team's wing trimmer, admits.
This weekend you will know the winning team of the Second SailGP Season and that will be billed a million dollars, the largest cash prize in the world of sailing.
The F50, the flying catamarans capable of reaching 70 knots, will again sail in the waters of San Francisco, where the Spanish, fourth in the general, will try to squeeze to the maximum their possibilities to get the last ticket to the Grand Final. Australia and the United States have secured their place to try to get a million dollars, and Japan, third in the general, is positioned as the favorite to make a gap in that fight. The eight nations will run a total of five sleeves between Saturday and Sunday, while the Grand Final will be held on Sunday.
The Spanish team of SailGP, which has been training in San Francisco Bay since last weekend, will have Juan de la Fuente as a coach, due to the incompatibility of Xabi Fernández's agenda. The Majorcan Paula Barceló, a diploma in Tokyo, is part of the Women's Pathway Program, a development platform for female athletes in the F50. Paula will compete as the sixth sailor, in the sixth position behind the pilot, key place especially in the exits, where more eyes are needed to avoid the clashes that have occurred in the past.
