New maritime beacons in the ports of Vilanova i la Geltrú, Arenys de Mar and Mataró, by the company of Barcelona Almarín, reference of the sector in Spain

The ports of Vilanova i la Geltru, Arenys de Mar and Mataró have renewed part of their maritime beacon by Almarin, with the aim of adapting to the new regulations of State Ports and providing a safer navigation. The public company Ports de la Generalitat and Consorci Port de Mataró have been the entities that have invested in this improvement in their ports.

The new signage increases maritime safety, as new posts provide greater day visibility compared to previous beacons. Among the most relevant actions is the port beacon of the new contradique in Vilanova and Geltru, as well as an entire beacon and a modular beacon in the Port of Mataró.

The latter has been manufactured with this system to facilitate the transfer to its location. On the other hand, in Arenys de Mar, one signal has been replaced by another with more power. Almarin has carried out the inspection and adaptation to the new maritime signalling regulations, as well as the manufacture of the beacons and the supervision of the installation.
