Today took place in the central restaurant of the hotel OD in Barcelona, the presentation of the XXXIV edition of the Ruta de la Sal high race. In the presentation of this edition the race that will leave next April 14 with the direction CN Sant Antoni of Portmany on the island of Ibiza, from the facilities of the Barcelona port of the CM Port Ginesta and the plywood of the RCN Denia.

The presentation was attended by the conseller d'Esports i d'Hisenda del Consell d'Eivissa, Salvador Losa, the deputy mayor i regidor d'Esport José Ramón Martín, as well as Luis Miguel Gómez del CN Sant Antoni de Portmany, the president of the CM Port Ginesta, Joan Tubella, the president of the Catalan Vela Federation, Xavier Torres and the director of the race, Enric Curt.

The tours of La Sal 2022 will have a minimum distance of approximately 140 nautical miles for the Barcelona version, which has exit from Port Ginesta (Barcelona) heading directly to Sant Antoni de Portmany, Ibiza. The Denia Version, which part of the port of Denia to Sant Antoni of Portmany, is about 120 nautical miles, surrounding Ibiza in a sense contrary to the clockwise needles, leaving the islands of Formentera, Tagomago and Ibiza by port. Also from Denia will be given the release of the Mini Sal version, with a minimum distance of approximately 55 nautical miles, especially designed for crews who want to start in High Regatas, with departure from Denia and direct arrival to Sant Antoni de Portmany.

Alex Pella, Toni Guiu, Enrique Curt, Bubi Samsó, Guillermo Altadill, Vicente García, Jaime Olazabal, Alberto de Castro, Vicente García Torres, Manel Codina, and an endless etc., are some of the sailors of La Sal, who always take advantage of their obligations, to participate in this race of nautical fraternization.

Throughout the history of The Salt Route, 13 skippers have been able to win the test on more than one occasion.
