The event was chaired by the president of the Federation of Vela de Castilla la la Mancha, Concha Valedor, as well as the mayors of two of the coastal towns of the reservoir of Entrepeñas, as were Jesús Ayuso and Francisco Pérez Torrecilla as mayors of the municipalities of Alocén and Sacedón respectively (Fotos Surf3, Alfonso Tertre)

After two years of waiting, on Saturday, March 5, it took place at the Nautical Club of Entrepeñas, in Sacedón (Guadalajara), a expected edition of the Annual Gala of the Federation of Vela de Castilla la Mancha, in which its most prominent athletes received different trophies, for the sports successes of the years 2020 and 2021.

The situation of the pandemic, in the last two years, conditioned and prevented, that this event had taken place earlier and so, it was decided that, in one act, it would be invited to attend to receive their awards to those athletes who had obtained some post of podium in one of the autonomous championships of the last two years.
