The great Cristina Pujol, a higher value for the Catalan... and the Spanish

The Federació Catalana de Vela, following the health recommendations to combat the Covit-19, has held a new edition of the Festa de la Vela Catalana online. An event where the successes of the entire group of the Catalan sailing in 2021 have been recognized: world, European, Spanish and Catalan champions and pods; special distinctions; Velas de Platino, Oro, Plata and Bronze to the clubs for their task during the year; and the Millors Navigants of 2021 in the male and female category.

More than a hundred people have connected to the social networks of the Federació to enjoy live the proclamation of Jordi Xammar - the Olympic regatist of 470 of the Níutic Garraf Club - and Cristina Pujol - the Olympic regatist of ILCA 6of the Níutic Port d'Ar- as Millors Navurants of l'any.

During 2021, Xammar achieved, nothing more and nothing less, that an Olympic bronze medal in Tokyo, a bronze in the world held in Vilamoura and the European subchampionship, also held in the Portuguese town.
