Two young Spanish regatists at the SailGP Inspire WASZP final in San Francisco

The Majorcan Neus Ballester and the Basque Jaime Framis will compete with young people from seven other countries
Spanish youth Neus Ballester (18 years) and Jaime Framis (19 years) will represent Spain in the first Grand Final Inspire WASZP - Championship of Champions in SailGP to be held on the weekend of March 26 and 27 in San Francisco, coinciding with the Mubadala United States Sail Grand Prix. This competition will bring together the best young regatists around the world, both men and women, and this is the culmination of the second season of "Inspire Racing x WASZP," in which SailGP offers young regatists the opportunity to compete at the highest level.
The Grand Final of Insipire WASZP Championship of Champions of SailGP is the continuation of the Inspire Racing program that has been held in all the Great Awards that the league has held throughout this second season. In fact, in Spain Sail Grand Prix, 124; Andalusia - Cadiz, a total of 16 regatists from all over Spain participated in Waszp, including the selected Neus Ballester and Jaime Framis.
The mallorcan Neus Ballester is one of the young promises of the ballast candle, after crowned Youth World Champion in 420. Currently, the regatist of the CN Sa Rrapita is focused on his Olympic career in 470. Ballester will travel to San Francisco along with the 19-year-old Basque young Jaime Famis to represent Spain in this first Grand Final Inspire WASZP - Championship of Champions of SailGP.
Inspire Racing x WASZP is a world-class platform for regatists under 21 years of age to develop their skills in the building and start their journey to the F50 catamarans. With a strong focus on inclusion, this programme aims to diversify sailing through its programmes, eliminating gender, racial and socio-economic barriers. In this context, the Spanish team of SailGP is currently working to open up a building academy in Andalusia to promote the practice of this sport...young athletes will compete during the weekend of the SailGP Grand Prix, in a reduced version of the race field... aother races, the athletes will participate in pre-training clinics in San Francisco with professional training of failing, as well as in meetings with athletes and staff of SailGP for professional advice, work experience and additional physical training.
